Day 19 Rosthwaite to Grasmere

Setting off from Nook Farm with some fellow walkers
Great breakfast with great coffee! What a surprise.
Straight out on the walk and up Stonethwaite Beck and the sighting of a small red squirrel.
Gradually climbing and with the gradual, steeper as we pass Eagle Crag and climb up Greenup Gill and then almost clamber up to Lining Crag which has expansive views down the valley back to Rosthwaite.
It’s then a boggy run past Greening Edge, with some geographical confusion until we pick up the trail at Flour Gill.
Heading down
Then a steep descent down into Far Eastdale Gill which gradually flattens out as it enters Grasmere and our nights abode, The Chestnut Villa where we have the choice of rooms?
The room is, well roomy!
Dinner at the local pub, overpriced and not that good. Pub food is starting to get a bit repetitive.
